Services:
Every Sunday Matins at 10:00 a.m.and Divine Liturgy at 11:00 a.m..
The great feast days are sometimes celebrated the evening prior to the feast day, in order to allow working members to participate.
Activities:
- The children are divided into three groups, each of which meets on the second and the fourth Saturdays of each month.
- Youth and women's groups meet twice a month on Saturdays.
- The parish is an active member of the Council of Churches in Berlin and Brandenburg. It is also a member of the Council of Foreign Parishes.
- The parish prepares and prints the Orthodox calendar in German and a weekly pastoral bulletin which is sent to all parishes.
A brief history of the parish:
The parish was founded in 1993. It was served by various priests, and its location changed from time to time, allowing the Divine Liturgy to be celebrate regularly once a month. The situation changed in 1999 when the parish hired its own priest. In 2001 a building was found which contained suitable space for the church and the priest's home. This building was dedicated in 2004. At the moment the parish comprises some 120 families originally from the Antioch Zone, from Syria and Lebanon, Palestine and West Bank,as well as members from various other countries, i.e. Germany, Egypt, the USA, etc.
