Continuing his efforts to promote good relations with the Catholic Church, His Eminence Metropolitan John visited Cardinal Christophe Schonborn in his residence on Saturday the 19th March. Accompanied by fathers Athanasios Fahd, Ephrem Malouli and Michele Babas, His eminence met the Cardinal and expressed his gratitude and happiness for this occasion. He thanked him for all kinds of support and help offered for our Antiochian parish there. His Eminence Cardinal Christophe also expressed his deep feeling of happiness and underlined the importance of the Antiochian presence in Vienna. They also discussed the most recent results of the ecumenical dialogue and the possible ways for collaboration between the various Churches in Austria.
Afterwards, Metropolitan John visited the offices of the Archdiocese and the famous cathedral of Vienna.
