The Antiochian parish church of the Archangels Michael and Gabriel in Blanc-Mesnil celebrated the glorious Pascha. 1200 parishioners, old and young, gathered on Agape Sunday in one of the great halls of Nanterre near Paris. His Eminence blessed the celebrations and joined his flock in their joy at the feast. The children and the young people offered religious and funny sketches with various contests, which they had prepared for the occasion. His Eminence distributed the prizes to the winners, and the first prize was a toy car, which was given to Mr. Jafar Kochou-oglou.
The gathering was filled with the joy at the resurrection over
a unique Antiochian agape meal. At the end, His Eminence thanked Father
Nadim Maalouf, the parish priest, and Mr. Ibrahim Le-petit, the
president of the parish council, and all the parish council members who
work hard in serving the parish. He then thanked them all and
expressed his joy at the meeting which united our Antiochian families
that live in Paris. He also wished them all success.
