Visit to His Eminence the Cardinal of Paris
His Eminence Metropolitan John has visited His Eminence André the Twenty-Third, the Cardinal of Paris, thanking him for his presence at the ceremony of his enthronement as the head of the archdiocese, which took place last September. In turn, Archbishop Vingt-Trois expressed joy that gave him the meeting.
They then discussed the importance of working together, sharing their experiences pastoral responsibilities, as well as the importance of communication and meetings.
They also stressed the humanitarian role of the Church, and the importance of continuity of meetings for joint work in all that concerns our two churches, Catholic and Orthodox, for the edification of man and of society.
